Aamir is an award winning CEO and founder of Enterprise Monkey – a multinational digital firm with a presence in 4 countries, is an Australian Young Business Leader of the Year and an Investor and tech co-founder in 4 startups. Aamir has been appointed as Member Geelong Authority by the Minister of Planning. He is also the founding Secretary of Pivot Summit – an international digital conference.
Aamir pursued MBA in Information Management from Deakin University where he also completed a research project with Geelong Council and NBN on the Business Model of Geelong Smart City Hub.
He did bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University in India where he founded AMULive – the first ever University Social Network in India, reached a mark of 5000 members within 15 days of its launch. Aamir also played a very crucial role in the establishment of an Entrepreneurship Development Cell.
Aamir founded Enterprise Monkey – Web and App development company in 2014 which has recently been awarded as the Australian Smartest Innovation of the year.
He is also the Co-founder of Angel Next Door – a community help website which allows neighbours to help each other during lockdown secretly and discreetly.
Aamir was appointed as General Manager of ICT Geelong at the age of 25. To promote entrepreneurship in the region of Geelong, he had set the foundation of Entrepreneurs Geelong Network, a group of around 200 entrepreneurs. He is passionate about management consulting.
He had also been appointed as Member Geelong Authority to provide advice on land use and development in Central Geelong.
He is also the Secretary of Pivot Summit, which bring Australian and international thought leaders together to share insights on the future of digital and its impact on how people work, live and think.
During his Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University in India where he founded AMULive – the first ever University Social Network in India, reached a mark of 5000 members within 15 days of its launch.
He also played a crucial role in the establishment of an Entrepreneurship Development Cell.
As the Gen. Secretary of AMU Students’ Union 2011 (India), he organized the first ever recruitment drive in AMU which resulted in the placement of 2000 students in 30 companies. His passion towards technology contributed in digitization of AMU campus by the introduction of free WiFi and Smart Classrooms. He also developed strong bureaucratic and political connections which empowered him to lobby some National Policies for the welfare of Students. Additionally, he works as a business consultant with many leading organizations.
